The past 3 years I took my 'once a year' Christmas cookies, which my friends and relatives always enjoyed, into a more serious venture. Â Spending tons of hours learning from videos, blogs and articles and watching my favorite baking shows... I've been baking cookies and applying my self-learned royal icing decorating techniques to a different level.
Oh sure, I have a lot more to learn, to grow and I plan to do just that.
In the meantime, I'll be posting and updating my site so you can see all the new cookie designs you just might want to order for the next holiday or special occasion.
FIRST BATCH!
Valentine's 2022 was a great time to be creative and use the decorating techniques I learned from some really great cookie decorators.Â
Writing on cookies is not that easy!
I always wondered how 'they did it'... and I would come to find out there are many tricks to achieve a smooth, written message. Â So I practiced the word 'Love'. Â As you can see, a little shaky but not too bad for first timer!Â
And when you're new to cookie baking, you find out quickly that there are so many tools which help to create these amazing decorated cookies.
Recently, in fact, just last week I ran across a couple videos that showed the 'stencil' technique. And I gave it a try. It worked!
Soon you will see my sugar cookies decorated with Initials and other sayings. Â It's all so much fun to learn and then get in the kitchen and just do it!

First Stencil Success!
Used very stiff royal icing, stencil scraper and magnets hold the stencil firmly (that's the secret!)Â
